Ethos

Redcliffe School is a traditional co-ed prep and pre-prep school which has been established for over 60 years. We blend a modern approach with traditional values. Redcliffe School has a “family feel” with high teacher to pupil ratios in all classes. We educate all our pupils according to their particular needs and strengths. Parents are encouraged to become involved in our school life and as a school we take an active role in local community service and participate in fundraising activities throughout the year for our nominated charity.  For the 2011/12 school year, we are fundraising for COSMIC (Children of St. Marys Intensive Care) Charity (www.cosmiccharity.com).

We value good communication with our parents and encourage links with the local community. Parents are welcomed into the school regularly to join in with activities and celebrate their children’s achievements.

Academic success is a strength of Redcliffe, with our pupils regularly achieving their first choice next schools. Equally important to us is the development of the pupil’s self esteem through regular performance opportunities at, for example, school assemblies and concerts. Heads from future prep and senior schools often comment on the excellent poise, social skills and good manners of Redcliffe children, as well as their academic ability.
