Joining our Nursery aged 2 ½
Most children join Redcliffe School Nursery during the term of their third birthday with entry in September, January or April. Summer born children join in the September following their birthday. All nursery places are non-selective and priority is given to siblings.
Places are allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis and parents are encouraged to register their children from birth onwards. Given the popularity of places, we recommend that, where possible, children are registered before their first birthday.
Places are offered 15 months before entry in registration order. Children who are unsuccessful in securing a place for their preferred term of entry are automatically transferred onto a waiting list for any places that become available in the following terms. Once a place has been offered, it is secured by completing an Acceptance Form and paying a £1,500 deposit, which is reimbursed from the final term’s fees.
Should your child transfer across to the Reception Class at Redcliffe, you will be asked to pay a top-up deposit which secures the Reception place for your child and brings the deposit in line with external candidates.
Redcliffe School gives priority to siblings in all year groups. However, early registration of younger siblings is essential. Please note there is a registration fee of £150 payable to register siblings for entry to all classes.
